Our Story

Malibu doesn't convince people. It inspires them.

It was the wild, wild west once. Then an artist's colony. It's evolved with every person who's come to live here, and somehow, through all of it, it's stayed exactly the same.

There's a thing about this place you can't really describe. The best word for it is just "Malibu." But if I had to pick one, I'd say magic.

I spent my whole life looking for home. That's actually been the story of my life, if I'm honest. Home was always by the ocean, somewhere I hadn't found yet. And now, finally, in Malibu, I feel home. My community. My friends. What I've built here. 

I walk to the water every morning, down the stairs at Big Dume. It's the best part of my day.

Malibu Soul was built the moment I knew I needed to become the person I was destined to be. I feel free here. I can be who I want to be, and my hope is to share that with you. Malibu gave me that. Maybe that's the magic gift.

I hope you find inspiration in what we're building here, and that you bring a bit of that magic gift home with you. Wear it when the sun rises in your life. Wear it when it sets, too. That's what it did for me. The Rising Sun Collection is where the inspiration came from.

The sun rises. It sets. Then it rises again. There's power in that. There's magic in it. It means something. It means we can start again. We can recreate something beautiful when everything feels like it's falling apart. We can rise again the next day.

That's what Malibu means to me. That's the magic gift it gave me. And I hope Malibu Soul gives that same thing to you. A bit of Malibu magic, wherever you are.
